I waited & hoped but …
I have had this App for 10 years now. Loved it. Used it daily to see ships passing by my window in Sidney BC, and in the Marina, as well as seeing cruise ships around the world. Sadly the big update you did early this year wiped out everything I loved. The colourful maps are now depressingly bland. What have you done.
This was one of my favourite most used apps but it has become unusable. The maps are terrible, the tracking is laggy, vessel past track is hard to access and pretty much useless. It’s slow, it freezes and notifications don’t work anymore. I even hate the new app tile. You’ve taken a great app with great user interface and made it a dog. Uninstalling, hopefully it will be sorted out but it’s not taking up space on my device while it’s this bad.

Used to be the Best
This was the greatest marine tracking app…but then with the updates over the past year, it’s been destroyed. Sure, the functionality may still be there but they’ve changed the map base layer options to ones that are utterly unreadable. It’s extremely difficult to differentiate between vessel types on the white water or the black water in dark mode. Isn’t Great
I bought this app years ago to see where my ships were before boarding. After a while, it wouldn’t let me view anything without purchasing again (twice) so I just gave up on it. Yesterday my son got his first ship, so I figured I’d download it again to see where he’s going. I chose the pro version, but the only thing I can see on the map is where his vessel is. Upgrade disaster- update
Since the up grade to “the new look”, I’ve lost my subscription. I had to rejoin, it the finds my subscription but and. Tells me I have the pro erosion , then shows me nothing! Wants me to pay a monthly fee when I have already paid a lump sum for nautical charts. I absolutely hate this version. Ok once I got past the AI and to a real person, it was sorted out and now have my charts back. I don’t like the pull up data from the bottom, taking over the whole screen.

Each review is dealt onto the strip as Jev reads it, gets a stamp for what the text says (positive, mixed, neutral, negative) and tags for what it is about, then lands on the deck for its kind of review: praise, a bug report, a complaint about a product decision, a billing problem, a feature request. The verdict line keeps the star average next to what the text says, and the reviews that change colour are the ones a star average hides: four stars with a complaint inside, five stars typed over an angry paragraph. In our study of 1.1 million reviews only 26% of four-star reviews were plain praise.
Under the decks the counters light up what stands out for this app: surprise charges, blame for an update, people saying they are leaving, reviews waiting for a reply, and its most common complaint topics. The category averages next to the charge and update counts come from the same study.
