I waited & hoped but …
I have had this App for 10 years now. Loved it. Used it daily to see ships passing by my window in Sidney BC, and in the Marina, as well as seeing cruise ships around the world. Sadly the big update you did early this year wiped out everything I loved. The colourful maps are now depressingly bland. What have you done.
This was one of my favourite most used apps but it has become unusable. The maps are terrible, the tracking is laggy, vessel past track is hard to access and pretty much useless. It’s slow, it freezes and notifications don’t work anymore. I even hate the new app tile. You’ve taken a great app with great user interface and made it a dog. Uninstalling, hopefully it will be sorted out but it’s not taking up space on my device while it’s this bad.

Used to be the Best
This was the greatest marine tracking app…but then with the updates over the past year, it’s been destroyed. Sure, the functionality may still be there but they’ve changed the map base layer options to ones that are utterly unreadable. It’s extremely difficult to differentiate between vessel types on the white water or the black water in dark mode. Isn’t Great
I bought this app years ago to see where my ships were before boarding. After a while, it wouldn’t let me view anything without purchasing again (twice) so I just gave up on it. Yesterday my son got his first ship, so I figured I’d download it again to see where he’s going. I chose the pro version, but the only thing I can see on the map is where his vessel is. Captain
This is a terrible service. You pay and it never works properly. While you have an amazing product, the way you created this app is unfriendly. You have to login over and over and always through the web not the app itself. It always says I have to open an account but I have one and I paid for it in full. I do not recommend using the paid service. It is a waste of time and money.

A star rating is one number. The text has the reasons.
Every tile is one review. First the tiles are coloured by stars. Then each one is recoloured by what its text says, and the tiles that change are the reviews a star average hides: four stars with a complaint inside, five stars typed over an angry paragraph. In our study of 1.1 million reviews only 26% of four-star reviews were plain praise.
After that the tiles sort themselves by what the review is for (praise, a bug report, a complaint about a product decision, a billing problem, a feature request), and the last view lights up what stands out for this app, biggest first: its most common complaints, surprise charges, blame for an update, people saying they are leaving, and reviews that are waiting for a reply. The category averages next to the charge and update counts come from the same study.
