The updated Premium version is really informative, and easy to customize. Living in South FL and relying on radar 60 miles away, in Melbourne, is fraught with inaccuracies when it comes to rain forecast most of the time. Weather 10/10, navigation 3/10
As a weather app, this is one of my goto apps. As a navigation app, there’s work to be done. When you start navigation it displays the first action to be taken (turn left in 7 miles etc.). After a very short while it displays the next action to be taken and displays it for the next 7 miles (at the roundabout take the first exit). It’s always displaying one action ahead of the next one. It also runs out of map after a distance and just displays a green screen. I won’t be using...

Premium Worth the Money
The radar is extremely accurate. I really like the addition of Tree and Grass Pollen and Ragweed. UV index is useful too. One thing missing from the upgrade is Sunrise and Sunset. I really appreciate how we can see all the details (like barometric pressure) hour to hour. Changes were a little hard to get used to but is extremely detailed information. Used to be great, now annoying
I have used this app for a long time; it is my go-to for quality and accurate radar. The maps look great, simple layout and navigation. The recent series of updates makes it near impossible to use the slider in the timeline. This used to be one of the best features: grab the slider and be in full control to walk through the storm trajectory. But confusing at first, but seems OK so far.
I’ve been using this app for about 10 years and didn’t update it. I liked how everything was available on one screen without having to fill a lot. After updating, it was a bit confusing with some of the changes, but it seems to provide some extra data. The one thing I don’t like is Exact sunset and sunrise times are not displayed. This would be easy to add and it wouldn’t add any complexity. There’s a few other quibbles, which make it a little bit tricky to navigate through....

A star rating is one number. The text has the reasons.
Every tile is one review. First the tiles are coloured by stars. Then each one is recoloured by what its text says, and the tiles that change are the reviews a star average hides: four stars with a complaint inside, five stars typed over an angry paragraph. In our study of 1.1 million reviews only 26% of four-star reviews were plain praise.
After that the tiles sort themselves by what the review is for (praise, a bug report, a complaint about a product decision, a billing problem, a feature request), and the last view lights up what stands out for this app, biggest first: its most common complaints, surprise charges, blame for an update, people saying they are leaving, and reviews that are waiting for a reply. The category averages next to the charge and update counts come from the same study.
